Viridis Bulk Carriers will partner with forward-thinking bulk cargo charterers, serious about lowering their carbon footprints.

Our development project «FlexBulk – NH₃ power» has been granted pre-project support under the norwegian «Green Platform» support program, and we are planning to develop and execute a main project.

We will enter into cooperations with select Client Partners for the project, with the goal of building a zero emission bulk logistics network through a set of zero emission COA / TC agreements. A key development goal in the project will be to optimally combine:

a) Multi-directional flows of different goods, with;

b) Green ammonia bunkering opportunities, and;

c) An ammonia-powered bulk carrier flexible enough to handle varying types and volumes of cargo, in terms of both operational range and functional capabilities, while maintaining crew and societal safety at the level of conventional ships
