and Mosvolds Rederi joined forces to create
Viridis Bulk Carriers AS
The joint venture will develop, build and operate zero emission bulk carriers,
drawing on the expertise, networks and capabilities of each of the partners.
Due to the high age profile of the European short sea bulk fleet, the company anticipates
a growing demand for newbuildings. Our strategy is to meet this demand with zero
emission ships; skipping gradual emission reductions and going straight for the final solution.
